UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2027 के लिए Union Public Service Commission ने 127 tentative vacancies के लिए online applications आमंत्रित किए हैं। आवेदन प्रक्रिया 02 September 2026 से शुरू हो चुकी है और eligible candidates 22 September 2026, शाम 6:00 बजे तक online application submit कर सकते हैं।
इस recruitment में Geological Survey of India (GSI) और Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) के Group A तथा Group B scientific posts शामिल हैं। Preliminary Examination 10 January 2027 को आयोजित की जाएगी।

Educational Qualification & Age Limit

UPSC Geo-Scientist Examination 2027 के विभिन्न posts के लिए qualification post/stream के अनुसार अलग-अलग है। मुख्य रूप से relevant subject में Master's Degree रखने वाले candidates eligible होते हैं।
- Geologist / Assistant Geologist: Geological Science, Geology, Applied Geology तथा notification में निर्धारित संबंधित geological subjects में Master's Degree.
- Geophysicist / Assistant Geophysicist: Geophysics, Applied Geophysics, Exploration Geophysics, Physics अथवा notification में निर्धारित संबंधित subjects में Master's Degree.
- Chemist / Assistant Chemist: Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry तथा notification में निर्धारित संबंधित chemistry subjects में Master's Degree.
- Hydrogeology Posts: Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, Hydrogeology अथवा notification में निर्धारित संबंधित qualification.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination में selection मुख्य रूप से Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Personality Test/Interview के माध्यम से होता है।
Stage-I: Preliminary Examination

Stream-specific paper candidate की applied post/stream के अनुसार Geology/Hydrogeology, Geophysics या Chemistry से संबंधित होगा। Preliminary Examination objective type होगी और wrong answers पर prescribed negative marking लागू होगी।
Stage-II: Main Examination
Preliminary Examination में निर्धारित qualifying standard पूरा करने वाले candidates को Main Examination के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। Main Examination में संबंधित stream के तीन conventional/descriptive papers होते हैं, प्रत्येक 200 marks का।

Personality Test / Interview
Main Examination में निर्धारित standard प्राप्त करने वाले candidates को Personality Test / Interview के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। Final selection applicable rules के अनुसार examination और personality test के performance तथा service/post preferences के आधार पर किया जाएगा।

- यदि पहले से Universal Registration Number (URN) नहीं है, तो required registration/profile complete करें।
- Login करके Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2027 का examination-specific application module select करें।
- Personal details, educational qualification और अन्य required information carefully भरें।
- Required photograph/live photograph, signature तथा अन्य documents/information upload करें।
- Applicable examination fee का payment करें।
- Application form का preview ध्यान से check करें।
- Final submission के बाद confirmation/application details सुरक्षित रखें और print/download कर लें।
